5.5 Inch Body Lift

I was looking around Performance Accessories website earlier today and stumbled across this:https://www.shopatron.com/product/pa...06.2.0.0.0.0.0

Its listed under the "PREMIUM LIFT SYSTEMS" section. I cant find much details on it other than "5.5" Premium Lift System 2006-08 Ford F150, 2/4WD, W/O Flare Side, Gas"

Any thoughts?! A 5.5 inch body lift sounds scary!

It's a combo of a 3 inch body lift and a 2.5 inch leveling kit.

while it is true backyard hillbillies have made body lifts 4'' and bigger out of hockey pucks and whatever bolts may be laying around, that does not make it safe... the body bolts would be so much longer that when torsional stress is applied, the bolts would have much more leverage as a fulcrum point, and would snap.

There was a company several years ago that made a 4 inch body lift for GM's but it wasn't Performance Accessories.

I can imagine seeing that kind lift in the area i work in, freaking beverly hibillies, that would be a waste of money, it would show way too much of the frame

Man everyone hated on this product fast, was looking through trying to find reviews, it is just a 3 inch body lift, the other 2 inches is a leveling system for front suspension.
