Tie Rods Replacement Costs

I have '97 F150 4x4 that needs both inner and outer tie rods and sleeves replaced (both sides) after 98,000 miles. Dealer quoted a price of $850 (with alignment)!
This seems outrageously high to me.I usually do all my own maintenance/repair work, but am in the middle of a move and manuals and tools are in storage.
Anyone had this work done recently?

should be about $150 in parts, about 2 hours in labor (at most) and an hour to do the alignment.

sounds like you were about to pay double!

Thanks for the confirmation.
I called another Ford dealer where I will be next week and they said $720. Better, but still not what I want. OEM parts must be VERY expensive.
I'll check some local shops in the new town.
