Fabtech lift

Just wondering...

when you get the fabtech performance system with the dirt logic coilovers, the coilovers work sort of like a leveling kit for your front.. correct?

when someone "cranks their fabtech coilovers" to 8inches what raises the back of the truck? just bigger blocks or aals?

Maybe looking at lifing my truck after this summer.. just looking for details.

ALSO, with 37inch tires you need bigger gearing.. how much does that run? :S

coilovers just replace stock oem shocks/spring. and with a fabtech kit and dls you will be at 6 inches.

if cranked to 8, yes you need a bigger block or aal.

and gears are 1500 for 4x4.

Plan on doing it all at once. Save your change. And while you're at it, since you are getting a Fabtech, get their steering stabilizer.

They do what they are suppose to do, which is: Obtain increased steering control and reduce front end shimmy from oversized tires and wheels.

For over 100 years, Deaver has been the leader in vehicle suspension. That means we’ve been around this neighborhood since the horse and buggy was the primary mode of transportation so we’ve seen a lot of ups and downs in suspension systems over the years.

About the only thing that hasn’t changed is our reputation…. We’re still the specialists.

With four generations of experience in our hip pocket, there’s nothing we haven’t seen or don’t know about suspension systems.

Operated by father-son team Gary and Jeff Crosby, Deaver Spring, Inc. (formerly known as Deaver Spring Manufacturing Company) specializes in suspension work on cars, trucks, 4x4’s and Recreational Vehicles, which is to say anything with a suspension. Deaver Spring will repair springs on your family car or customize the suspension of your Baja 1000 4x4. We’ve done work on cars owned by Jay Leno, Boyd Coddington and Reggie Jackson. We’ve even repaired the springs on Bonnie and Clyde’s car (the last one, with the bullet holes.)

Whether you’re a celebrity, a local dealer or a regular Joe, you get the same attention to detail.
