Cool.

You can do a custom bracket for the shocks. If you go 4 Link you may not even need that shock mount.

Let me know if you need help looking up something on your truck wiring wise if you are trying to delete something all the way off the truck

just gotta sandblast the axle and front control arms.. then ill be done getting sand in places you dont want it. Ive been working my tail off so i havent had much time to tinker

Question #1.) How do you get around? Have a secondary vehicle?

2.) Where do you store the rest of your "truck"?

3.) How long did it take to disassemble the whole thing?

I bet its going to be real hard putting it all back together. Is it me or everytime I work on a project big or small I always misplace or lose a screw/nut/lug/bolt, etc.

well the project is comming along good. Ive had plenty of time to work on it because its been to wet to work. everything is sandblasted. and ive removed the X brace in the back. i think there was a total of 16 rivets to drill out and remove. plus i removed the shackle hanger aswell. so that was 8 more rivets. ive become good at that.
So, i welded in a couple pieces of flat metal and a tube between the frame. also when i got that ugly x brace out. the rear of the frame spread about 1 1/2 inches. Maybe its enginnered like that. but i did get rearended once pretty hard.
Anyways its ligned back up and straight. I need to work more cuz i dont have any cash for parts. I need my 4link bars and frame notch before i can think about painting it. also i need to custom fab a gas tank for the rear aswell.
in the meantime ive been standing in my engine compartment gitting dizzy from all the wires im gonna relocate.

oh and also yes i do have amother vehicle. pics in gallery. and accually im not using up too much space in the shop to do this. A 30x30 garage would be plenty big to do a teardown. the body takes up the most room. there really isnt a whole lot of stuff to clutter up the place.
