Why the hatred for: factory step bar & factory flares with mud flaps......

Dunno, but that stuff does not bug me. I do hate seeing a chit load of brake dust on fron wheels though <grin>. I even like plastic visors over the windows so I can keep my windows open, and not get water in the truck.

Ditto my brother, my driveway is 300 yards of gravel, I commute in the land of 18 wheeler gravel trucks, and I leave my windows cracked too in the tropical heat down here.

I'm not sure why either? Maybe it's just a southern thing to have it? It's the same thing with the bugshield which probably 75% of the trucks have around here. I love my in channel vent visors too. When it's 95 outside and 100% humidity they sure do seem to help keep the truck cooler while its sitting. It's all personal preference anyway! Just don't slap on any curb feelers! LOL

The only thing I dont like is mud flaps. Molded spash guards look much better, but I willalways have visor channels, step/nerf bars, and I wish I had fender flares.

I loved the mud flaps that came stock on my 94 ranger, it was kinda like a mix of a true mud flap, and the molded splash guards. But not sure if that style would work on these newer F-150's

Well I stand corrected. Those look nice, I guess I was thinking of the true mud flap style like on my Ranger, but I like those molded ones. The only problem I noticed with those is dirt gets between them and the body and I'm sure that can't be too good, unless they have changed and that doesn't happen now
