Torsion Bar Question
#2
you already have oem torsion keys. you can crank them up fully for about 2'' or so of lift. you will face no issues obtaining an alignment within factory specs, either.
aftermarket torsion keys are reindexed, and allow you to put way too much preload on the bars, and therefore crank way too high. i'm talking like up to 3''. your ride quality will be destroyed, and your truck will rip cv boots and pop ball joints if you go this route. also, you probably will have issues obtaining a correct alignment.
in short, use your stock torsion keys to crank up the bars, and get an alignment afterwards.
