cheapest place for 98 4wd 6" lift

Ok i have talked my dad into letting me get a suspension lift for my truck but i dont wanna pay a lot for one. Where is the cheapest place to get a 6" suspension lift? I would like a fabtech if I could get it pretty cheap. Any help with any suspension lift is very much appreciated though! Thanks!!!

I think you can pick up a Rouch Country 6" suspension lift for around a grand or just under. The fabtech lift for that year f-150 is pretty expensive. Search the forums, a guy just recently put a rough country 6" on his truck and it looks pretty good. They fabtech is much better quality (i would get the fabtech if you plan on going offroad alot) but for the price its hard to pass up the rough country.

Yeah i have read up on the rough country and it sounds like the best kit for the money. I think it only gives you about 5 inches of lift but still. And im guessing the fabtech is made of better material and put together better...everybody says its a better quality lift. If anyone could explain to me a little better how that would help a lot!

I have a rough country 6" on a '94. I agree, for the $ you can't beat it. I paid around $500, did the install myself, it was simple, works...nothing amazing, but it serves the purpose well for the $.

I have the 6" fabtech on my truck. I love it. I put it in myself. It was pretty easy to put in. There are pics of the install on my page. I got it from here

http://4wheelonline.com/Products.asp...roductID=71908

It was about 1550.00 when i bought it. It is 1850.00 now. Dont know if it is still the cheapest. I also know that 4wheel parts will price match any online price. If you got any questions about the lift just let me know.

Yeah i wanted to get the fabtech lift but its a little pricey. And for the price of the rough country lift, that automatically got me. Also if anybody has pictures of the rough country lift with a 3" body lift, that would be great. I will be running 35 x 12.50's with it for a while as well. Thanks!!!
