Sway Bar Suggestions

Hey All,

Lowering and bigger tires helped a lot with handling, now I want to add a rear sway bar and change to a bigger one up front later on. I've found a Hellwig rear bar (pn. 7663) for $240.00 and Eibach (pn. 35112.312) for $489.00. Both bars are 1". Pretty big difference in price between the two so obviously I am wondering which one to choose or if theres another manufacturer I should be looking at. Have any of you added a rear bar ? Did you have to re-locate the spare after adding it ?

Thanks

I just finished up adapting a 30mm rear bar from a yukon or suburbin to my 97 f150. The differance is amazing. Having done it once,I could do it again easyer. If you are interested I will post more details

I am also interested in the sway bar details.

The kit I'm looking at has a front sway bar but not a rear one.

about to do my suspension, now i'm wondering if i should buy a rear stabilizer and get it all done with at once - or if its just as easy to do later

I was searching for more in depth info on rear sway bars and it appears that the hellwig has given some members trouble with install.

consensus was that the bolts didnt thread well. one or 2 sent it back. The other 2 or 3 that I came across got it to work and said they love it now that its on.

so... I'd search it up... theres a lota talk about them, just spent the better part of 2 hours deciding that I want one!
