I was gonna say 150 sounds cheap for the rear but oh well something is better than nothing anyday! sounds like the build is coming along good man cant wait to see some pics!
growing up i thought jeeps were the ****, then i actually went offroading with one and it was a complete disapointment. it bottomed out and got stuck where my friends stock 84 mini truck go thru in 2wd

obviously due to a bad driver. I've seen people take $20k rigs through something someone in a TJ and 35s just crawled right through, and get it stuck, break the axle, etc....
Your rig don't mean nothing if you can't drive it. I bet that mini truck couldn't follow me back in the woods. Hell, he wouldn't even make it through the trail to get to the real mud.

it bottomed out on everything possible, thats why he kept getting stuck. in stock form they suck. and to fit 35's you need a fairly decent size lift. was it SOA?
My expo got bottomed out alot. That's why I built sliders...I can bounce over crap now They're great for bashing my head on too haha.
Trimble, you should throw some sliders on yours as well. You could tie your cage into them pretty easy. Even though you'll have alot of lift you could still use them. If for nothing else but to pivot your truck on them.

man, take some pictures of them... im gonna make some soon. I want them to be angled with a rescessed step on them. kinda hard to explain what i want but i want them
My rockers were rotted out so I cut them out and put the sliders where they were. Even after the sliders were put in I gained ~2"s of additional clearance under the body.
My buddy helped alot since I couldn't weld at the time these were built!

Well, if it bottomed out, then I don't see how a mini truck didn't. I am willing to bet the Jeep had more ground clearance then the mini truck. Has nothing to do with the Jeep supposedly sucking, has to do with not having big enough tires. So no way did the 2wd truck make it through if the jeep couldn't. He might of ran the outside, while the Jeep went up the middle, but they didn't run the same course.
It is a lot easier and cheaper to lift a Jeep, then a truck. Also, to fit 35s, it isn't that hard.
TJ- 4-5" for 35s
JK- 2" for 35s
