Funny you post those; I re-welded those rock rings for a new customer (owner of that green duramax) when he brought them here to mount, and all of the rings fell off due to the plug welds breaking off. It just made me laugh. Owning a water-jet does not make you engineer/fabricator of the year; nor does owning a truck that you can walk under, but has no adjustability to geometry (IMO). I have my reservations/opinions about work I have seen done from up there, but if you dont have anything nice to say, say nothing at all. I dont mean to come off as an ass with that (i know i will either way though, its just frustrating giving free customer service and realistic build advice to people all day long, only to see another shop make huge promises to the customer, only to end in the come up short), but I do wish you all of the best with your build.

Let me know if you need help. We are a short drive away.

Also, to others, we make laser cut conversion hanger/shackle kits now for leaf sprung conversions, as well as rear shackle flip kits for the 97-03 trucks to improve ride quality and articulation. The front kits accept all 3/4 and 1ton perch width axles. I have not checked into the vendor requirements here yet, so I will go no further.

Is this Jesse?

I never saw the wheels in person, really was only showing off the idea. Anyways everything seems to be ok. The welds seem pretty good (im sure those rock rings are differnt story, different type of weld or whatever)

If this is Jesse then i assure you Farmboy Fabrications was my first choice, but i needed to get this thing done. I really didnt have the time to get down there to you. I have recommended your shop for MANY things on this site alone. And if for some odd reason the truck isnt the way i want it or it should be then ill give you a call. I know ill be needing a few things eventually.

Thanks man, and by all means if you have something to say or imput on the build then go right on ahead. You know about this stuff more than anyone else.

ok ill take a look at the cages thanks.

The front should be on its own weight tonight. It would have been earlier but the springs i bought go delivered and the top leaf was split in half. So back they went.

So hopefully tonight it will be leaf sprung on front axle.
