That is freakin' awesome! I love how the rear bedcage is actually designed so you can still use the bed.

Wow, there's nothing like that over here in Tennessee! Simply awesome! This makes me want to pick up another truck and start modding. I guess I need to start learning how to weld!

Chase91, the front end on mine ran me about $5300 (plus tax ouch) for the kit, coilovers and bump stops. For your 09 you should look at the JD Fab kit. They make an awesome kit for 2wd or 4wd, and it doesnt require an engine cage. Heres a link.

Thanx for the compliments guys. Ive taken it to Glamis so far but im yet to take it to pismo and out to the desert. We usually head out to Barstow or Lucurne cause my buddies and i race in the MDR series.

This is exactly what I want to build out of my 1997 F-150. I'm in love with this truck!

Having researched this kit for two years, can you give us the "Cliff's notes" version of pro/cons, and what other options you might have considered? What did you find that other people had to say about this kit? This is killer!

Ive talked to almost everyone who ownes this kit and said it works great. the only thing that ever concerned me was it used a lower ball joint instead of a uniball. Aaron at Dixon Bros assured me that it wont be a problem and works perfect just like everyone else told me with the kit. For the price you cant beat it.

But one of the things i had a problem with was the engine cage did not fit correctly. It had to be modified a bit but it will def work. I understand nothings perfect and you cant expect it to be with something that was built in a jig. Not all trucks are the same so take some time and it will fit right.

Also if your on a budget and cant get the Bypass, just run the coil over and bump stop. I run that now and it works amazing.
