Either AAL or block ?? Need advice asap

I leveled my truck and to make a long story short I need to raise the rear of my truck 1.5" for my personal preferance. I would like to do the AAL for some more payload but donlt want to spend around $300 for the helwigs and such.

Is there any cheeper AALs that would give me the 1.5" that I'm looking for?

Also, I am considering just replacing the stock blocks for some bigger ones. What brand are you guys running and where can they be located?

I would like to do this rearend stuff this weekend but don't know if it will happen.

Please tell us what kind of truck you have......ASAP!!!

If you have an 04+ Superlift and Procomp have what that call "shim kits" that bolt to your spring pack and add up to 1.5 inches. This would probably be the cheapest route.

There are other options......but, we kinda need to know what we're working with????

I think I paid around $130 for my 1.5 AAL from Autospring.

Sorry, I have an 04 scew fx4. I was in kinda hurry when I started the thread.

Two local shops deal with helwig ranging in $200 - $300 range for three leafs mounted above the leaf pack and they are adjustable in hight range from 0 - 3".

I bought these guys. They are the good long leaf style, not the short ones. My truck rides amazing with them.

Can't beat that price. The install is a PIA with those stupid clamps you have to hammer open. Remember to also buy a shim kit for the diff.
