Your total Cost

Hey guys, I was wondering what your total cost of your "final product" was. I know that the price of install is going to vary from place to place, however I am just curious to see and compare everyones prices. If you remember how much everything was on its own I would be interested to see it broken down ( price of rims, tires, lift and install and anything extra ). Thanks!

I dont want to list everything... ill scan in the sheet i sent to the insurance company. All together im at something to the tune of 24k (as best i remember +/-), this does not include the exhaust i just redid, tonneau, kings, or camburgs. Granted when i redo something i go in and edit out the old to put in the new, there is no "old stuff and prices on top of redo stuff and prices" in there. There is also no OEM fixes due to the lift in that price tag, just aftermarket parts, installs, paint, and custom work. If i remember right im running close to where thumpermx113 was with his kings and everything he did. Im sure that everyone will agree though, that every penny they have put in no matter how big or small was well worth it.

*Price list to come asap

haha, i knew it was coming. its the same thing everyone said to thump till he was able to post it all up. its really all the small things that add up quick, plus the price of things that had to be done after a big lift, plus the big ticket items like the lift and stuff. depending on when you bought also has alot to do with the prices payed. most of mine is coming from mid-last year to present. You will see when i get it posted. I can tell you i payed 5700 (12/20/07) for the rize lift installed, thats just the lift and install. Too much? probably but its old news now

Well.. I'd like to think I have a budget build on my truck, I've chose to do a few things on my own and enlist the help of professionals when in doubt. I did a lot of looking around and think I got a pretty good deal whereever I went. Most of my work was cosmetic, and only took time, but in the end it was all well worth it.. of course, I'm still not even done yet..

Procomp 6" lift: $1600 ($1100 parts/$500labor)
Yukon 4.56 gears: $1400 ($800 parts/ $600labor)
35" Toyo MT tires: $1000
20" Procomp 7005 wheels: $800
3.0" AF1: $400
Magnaflow true-dual exhaust: $400 ($300 parts/$100 labor)
XCal3 VMPtuning: $400
Low Profile toolbox: $200
Black Roush grille: $80
Front tint: $80
Rubber bedmat: $75
black spray paint and etc: ~$100

Total: ~$6500

This is a pretty rough estimate, but for what it's worth, I think my truck looks pretty bad azz, it definately turns heads around town..

I bought the wheels and tires from Discount Tire in town. Well, I really lucked out on the tires. I went in there looking to buy some Procomp Extreme AT tires, but they were on backorder so I wouldn't have been able to get those for 2-3 weeks. So the guys said he had a couple of other tires in the back, he rolled out some BFG AT at first, and they looked pretty nice, but I asked him what else he had, and low and behold he rolls out some MT tires.. lol Toyo MT at that. He said someone had special ordered them but failed to pay off the deposit, so he be willing to sell them for the same price as the Procomp AT, which was almost a $150 markdown per tire (I'm guessing he thought I was deadset on wanting AT tires). Anywho, I knew how much Toyos were my original choice, but I didn't want to shell out the cash for their full price, so I kept my cool and was like, "sure, those look like they would work well enough, I'll take em." I get up to the register and he rings me up, comes up to about $2200 with tax and all.. but then I see a coupon on the counter saying "buy a set of 4 wheels & tires save $100) so I asked if I could use that, and he did.. lol, I was just tryin to milk it for all it was worth.

Anywho, he was the store manager and was very nice about the whole thing, and he asked me where I was gonna get my lift done. I told him about the off-road shop here in town, but he said he'd do it for $500. Considering the off-road shop wanted $900 for labor, and the dealership wanted north on $1000, I was sold. Of course, I was a bit skeptical, but he said him and his friend have bolted on plenty of lifts, and he's running the same 6" procomp on his 04 Supercrew sitting in the parking lot..

long story short, I guess I just got lucky..

Rancho lift from autoanything, i was one of the guys who bought the 6" skyjacker, $1,002 after all was said and done (they gave me 150 bucks for me to re-powdercoat it, but i was bent, so i ended up getting a new subframe for free from rancho
rancho shock rs5000's 270 set of shipped from sportrailerz
Moto metals 20x10 bought a set of 4 new (supposedly new any) 600 bucks shipped, 2 where outta round, dont ask me how, ended up buying 1 more new one. total for tims 875
Pro Comp Xtreme AT"s bought off ebay used for 40 miles, how i ended up winning them for 620 bucks i'll never know and 175 shipping. 795
i'm not bragging, i'm just saying you can find deals on stuff if you cant wait to piece together all the parts. i'm planning to regear which is another 800 bucks (me taking in the front diff that is) you can make it costly as you want or as cheap as you want, its all about decisions, 17's to 24's, coilovers or spacers.
