Increasing the rating for added front weight. Such as my grill guard which is made of heavy duty steel tubing. I am planning to aquire add-a-leaf for my rear, as i do towing as well. I travel alot due to my work, I tow my 27 foot travel trailer.

I have done quite abit in aftermarket powertrain performance.

ok this is kind of frowned upon but we did this to a friends 01 supercab 2wd. (he did it i just helped). we went to a junk yard bought shocks from a 2wd f250. much stiffer. he was lifting his front to level it. (once again his idea he did it i helped) he cut down the springs to the right height and got lift out of it. and it stiffened the ride up alot. but still rode good IMO. i no cutting springs isnt the best way to do it but thats an idea

I rather not cut and add springs from Superduty truck. I have not found if the springs i have already is the highest rated option for F-150 in 2001 or not. If it is not, then i would like to hunt it down or aquire equviant aftermarket.

Again my front Spring code is P - (5130). I do know that the 5130 is found in F150, Expedition and Econline.

If i can find a chart or reference to spring codes and their applications to F150 series in 2001 then that is what i would like to do.

*I did find 3 locations that do custom springs, i am awaiting on their response, will post the links if other people would like them for future use*
