Look to add a 2.5" leveling kit and have some???

I have a 07 FX4 with the factory 20" rims which I like.

I Want to add the leveling kit and was wondering which one and how much should I pay here in GA?

I checked one guy around here and he wants $475. To me that seems way high as I've read people installing a AS.25 kit in 1.5 hrs at home.

Being that I want to keep the factory 20's, what tire can i put on to fill it out and give it a more aggresive look?

I bought mine from ncdcustoms.com for $89.95 to my door. I just checked there site for pricing and they went up to $209.95, ouch. Hopefully there offering a special? It's a 2.5" billett aluminum.

That's it! Buy it up! Mine is black, I have been running them for 35,000 miles NO problems.

If you keep your oem wheels you can fit up to a 35x12.50-20 tire. That is as large as you can go and they will rub the control arms slightly at full steering lock. BFG makes the AT KO in a 285/65-20 size that is essentially a 35x11.50 tire and should not rub at all.

toughcountry is what i have and the install took about 2hours and cost 100 bucks.

I dont remember the name of mine , but it is one like what you are looking at, solid aluminum. I paid $ 100.00 to have inatalled truck aligned. Kit should work all right, I have over 50,000 miles on mine and 0 problems. Boyd

That did include the kit, spacers as he said, the install and a alignment!

I can build a house from the ground up but cars aren't my thing! lol
I put my Banks CAI on myself and that was only cause i wa too impatient to wait for my buddy to help.

How much should it cost me?

I paid about $225 to have mine installed, but that also included a new alignment.

ya that seems way to high for a leveling kit. Definitely look into autospring, seems to be the preferred brand here. You may want to check how much it would cost you if you brought in your own leveling kit. May save you a good amount.

I have been quoted at Kaufman tire $300 for a leveling kit install and alignment. Guy didnt know what kind it would be but it was like $200 for the kit itself, so ya I left.
