Unhappy Am I Crazy???

I've been going back and forth for a while about whether to lift to lower my truck. It's an FX4.... and I just feel I would be abusing it if I lowered it, but I mainly am on the main roads, I really don't go offroading, but think I would go if I got lifted, but just don't know.

So am I crazy for lowering an FX4?

Do what you want, its your truck. DJM has a lowering kit for the 4X4's, and they look damn good lowered. Its all up to you.

i would say lift it. i lifted mine back over spring break this year. never really rode trails or anything to much until summer. i just went out to trail ride. and since i have moved to auburn i have been exploring some more trails but still haven't gone mudding. if you have enough respect for your truck that you do not want to go in mud, you probly wont. and trail riding if your being careful you probly wont break anything until you start doing stupid stuff but that stupid stuff sure is fun

I've been going back and forth on this a while. I like the look of lifted trucks, but as I said, I don't offroad. I also like the look of lowered trucks, but don't think lowering 4x4 trucks is "proper"

So anyway, I just decided to get a leveling kit and AAL for the truck w/ some 33" all terrain tires that looked real aggressive. I figured this was the cheapest route (I was about to need new tires anyway since the stock Pirellis really suck), and would give me a bit more of an aggressive stance, but not completely ruin the the usefulness of an FX4.

I think thats a wise choice and a good one . I started out with a 2 1/2 " leveling kit .

Its up to you, I wouldn't lower an FX4 I'm biased though...

Some people just like the look of a lowered truck more than a lifted one and if all you have a 4x4 to do it with what the hell, right. If you do lower your truck take off the FX4 decals though.

Just my opinion
