I have a 2002 screw fx4 with a 3 inch PA body lift with the 4.56 gear ratio on 35s. My questions are.. What size tires will I be able to fit? Will I need to regear again? What is a good way to get more lift? (im assuming suspension?)
Thanks for all the help
what size tires will you be able to fit? if you do what? suspension? 6"?
if you do a 6" ontop of the 3" body lift you should be able to fit 38's. cashel and eufrin are running these set ups i believe. also crank torsion bars if not already done.
If you mean, what can you fit with a 3 inch body lift, then a 35x12.50 is the limit. That is what I'm running and I don't think I could go any larger.

If you add a 6 inch Fabtech lift, you can fit up to a 38x15.50 tire on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of bs. However, that is an extremely tight fit and you will have some minor rubbing.

Alright so I just looked up my specs for my wheels and I have 4.5 inch of BS so were good there. Now my only questions are what is the difference between a stage 1,2, etc. lift? and If i went with 38s or even 37 would I need to regear?
Thanks again
Stage 1 and 2 is a term used by Procomp on some of their Chevy and Toyota lifts. But don't worry about that because that doesn't apply to your truck. Also, Procomp only offers a 4 inch lift.
If you want 6 inches, then Fabtech and Skyjacker are your 2 best options.
If you have 4.56's, you should be alright with 37's or 38's. 4.88's are the highest you can go......but they wouldn't be worth the trouble of swapping.
Sweet thanks for all the help, now I gotta do all the research and find someone to buy my old tires (O and all the money ) Yall have been a lot of help, thanks again!
