Most everyone agrees that a 2.5 inch leveling kit is the max for the 04-08's. The few three leveling kits available leave the ball joints at too severe of an angle to last for very long.
Do you have a 4x4? If you do, a general rule is that with a leveling kit you can fit 35x12.50's by using the OEM wheels or 33's with wider aftermarket wheels.

is it not possible for ANYONE to ever you a search function. this has been covered a BILLION times. i posted a post a few weeks back tell you everything that can be done or cant be done and why.
anyways 2.5" is max you will want to do. 3" will destroy parts way to fast. 2.5" will make your truck pretty close to level, maybe a tad nose high
i know all about the balljoint and CV angle issues and i am due for balljoints soon anyways ...and i get and put all my parts in myself so its not such a problem but what are some good and less costly sites for bodylifts.... and what does a usual install yeild for ??

A body lift is not jerry rigging. However, everyone says they are a PITA to install on the 04-08's and they sell for closer to $300. Because of they are a pain to install, most members are reporting around $1000 labor cost to install one. If you have to pay someone to install one, you will wind up with about as much money invested as you would in a standard 6 inch Pro Comp lift.

body lifts are perfectly fine and leveling kits are not bad either but i would not go more than 2.5'' bc of the stress and the angles your putting your truck at already with that
I agree, "A body lift is not jerry rigging ". But ,Combined with the 3 in. leveling kit ? I smell a rig!! If your going 6 in. You might as well do it rite.
