fit 285/75/16

How much lift do I need to put on my 2001 2WD F150 to fit 285/75/16? I already got a 3" PA body lift, but what else am I gonna need? And the cheapest way if possible

the body lift should be enough. i had just a 2" coil spacer on my old 2wd 97 and with stock wheels i coulda fit 285's. if you have aftermarket wheels you might need to trim a little valance or the bottom of the back of the fenderwell but you should be ok. wandell or someone will chime in and give you a set answer.

I agree. I've seen 285's on stock 4x2's using the oem wheels.

Yep, 285's look very stuffed on a stock 4x2. I'd suggest lifting the truck a little or going with a 265/75-16 (32x10.50).

Honestly, I've always loved tires and wheels and have read tons of magazine articles. Most of the fitment knowledge I have comes from the members of this site and FTW. I don't know why, but these numbers just stick in my head for some reason. Weird, huh?

what tire size would you suggest if I put on a 3" body lift and a 3.5" spindle lift on my 2WD

i had 285/75 on my truck which is a 2wd and a 3 inch body. i was very happy and had no need for any trimming. i did put some pacer 16x10 inch wheels on and had to trim a little of the valence. now i have a ranch hand bumper replacement and no rubbing issues at all
