Well, Here's My Numbers.... What Would You Do?

Ok, so I measured my truck today for a leveling kit and here's what I got (height is from ground to center of wheel wells):

37.4" Front
39.7" Rear

=2.3" difference between front and rear

So what I was thinking is going with the 2.5" AutoSpring kit and then getting a 1" block for the back. I want my truck to remain as LEVEL as possible, but wouldn't mind the back sitting up a little higher (preferably no more than half an inch) for when I haul stuff.

Now I understand it that the AS 2.5 kit sometimes gives a lift of up to 3" so I guess I'll wait to order the block until I see how the truck sits after installing the front.

Ideas and thoughts welcome!

Thanks,
Chris

i would love to have mine perfectly level. I hate how my truck looks like an old man truck all slumped down.

Do a search plenty of info on this. Anyway, I would go with the AS 2.5 and see how you like it. If you end up wanting more lift in the rear get a AAL or a bigger block. I had a 2.5 AS in front and a 3" AS rear block (replaces the stock one) and my measurements were 41.5" front and 42.25" rear (on 35's) and I loved how it was just a bit higher in the rear. Now with my 6" lift and 35's I sit 45" front and rear

Ok. I just wasn't sure if the 3" block actually raised the back 3" or was just a buffer to stop sag.

it replaces your stock 1 5/8" block wich will lift your rear around 1.5" ,, i have the 2.5 up front and 3"rear AS block... and wish it was just about 1/2" lower... a 2.5" block would be perfect IMO
