Exclamation 6.5" suspension lift Grease fitting question

I tried to search this topic but came up with nothing. I have a 2WD 1997 f150 with a 3 inch body lift and 6.5" suspension lift. when I installed the upper control arm it came with a grease fitting on the upper ball joint. when I tried to screw it in and pump grease in it, it would not pump in the joint. i took the grease fitting off and found what looks like a piece of metal that was in there. i asked the company who made the lift and they said i was doing it wrong and was unaware of any metal keeping the grease from pumping in the joint. has anyone came across this problem also? click the link to see what i am talking about. I am running 33's which look horrible on it, but I dont know if 35's would clear without rubbing. ya think? thanks

35's should fit easily, especially with an 8 inch wide wheel.

The 10 inch wide wheels will limit your fitment. Most 4x2 lifts increase the front track width a few inches which pushes a 10 inch wide wheel way outside the wheelwell. If you had a 16x8 inch wheel you could probably fit 37x12.50's.
