Is 3" leveling kit too much?

A 3'' leveling kit is TOO MUCH! you are really going to mess up the angles on the front suspension, and the truck will ride like sh*t. cancel the order and go w/ a 2-2.5'' kit. The height of the rear should be the least of your worries.

This guy put on a lift kit. See how the lower arm is parallel to the ground?
Do you see the orange Rancho lift? Look where the lower arm (silver piece) mounts to the orange bracket.
Do whatcha want man...Its your truck. I am only regurgitating information that I have learned from this site. Theres a ton of guys around here that KNOW WAY more than me. A vast majority of them agree with what I am telling you here.

I have a 3 inch spacer on mine for 2 years for 20k miles and have no worries on mine..
look at my pics with 35's on factory rims.i will be getting a real lift soon(i hope)
or maybe just the king coilover kit since the wife is pregent and i dont want her to get in something really big and i have to get sidesteps for her as well.

Well now.....
I got the Bilstein 5100 height adjustable shocks, which supposedly only provide a 2" front lift.... but that by itself, made my truck totally level.
Problem is, I want my truck to be totally level "with" my boat trailer on the hitch, and a little tackle, and deep cycle battery in the bed.... So even with only a 2" front lift, I'm still going to have to get the 1" rear spacer kit.... about $100 from FatBobs http://www.fatbobsgarage.com/cart/pr...17145-182.html
Glad I didn't get a 2 1/2" or especially a 3" front lift.... I guess I could have gotten even taller spacers for the rear, but I'm happy with what I got.....
Peace,
Fish
