+6 inch replacement shocks?!?!
Hey guys, so.... I have a 6" lift on my 05 supercab 4wd.
I have looked everywhere and cannot find a 4 shock package for the newer body style f150 with a 6" lift. (2 Rear shocks and 2 front struts, my coils are fine)
1) Who offers struts and shocks by themselves for a 6" lift?
2) What brand would you recommend? So far, I am thinking Bilstein, but I do not think they make them...
3) Where can I get the shocks for the best price?
Im lookin for the Best "bang for my buck". I want to stay under $400. I have a black and blue truck, I would like to stay away from shocks that are red, yellow, pink, purple, etc... Neutral tones. Preferably silver.
THank you in advance, everyone!

have you tried calling an offroad distributor, such as 4wheelparts? bilsteins are a great shock... they came with my RCD lift... i think if you buy them seperately, the 5100 series runs about 75-90 dollars each. i would call 4wheelparts and talk to them.... plus their salesmen will always offer better deals to make a sale.

Bilstein 5100s in the front from the RCD 6" lift. Bilstein 5150s for a 6" lift.

Look into the Bilsteins that come with the RCD kit. I just got my truck lifted about 3 weeks ago with the RCD kit and the Bisteins ride great on and off road!
Here is my truck!

Gears are definitely worth it. Get 4.88s if you want the truck to be faster.

No, dont get 4:88's. Way too low.
You have 35" tires, right? I've got 35's with 4:56 gears and im running at about 2300rpm @ 65 on the highway. If you want to be at 3000rpm+ in overdrive going 65, then go right ahead.
I wish these fords had a 3rd gear....

for the rears, you could also look at the Fabtech "dirt logic" shocks.
I think Fox Racing also makes rear shocks for a 6" lift.
Not saying these are better, just more options.
