Okay so im looking at getting a 6" fabtech stage 1 for my 04 f150 4x4. I talked to 4wheelparts and they told me that if i got the stage 1 fabtech that they would have to do something to my drive shaft. I had no idea what the guy was talking about. So for everyone out there with a 6" Fabtech stage 1 kit on their f150 did you have to do anything to your driveshaft afterwards or was everything okay? And how do you like the Fabtech lift? Ive heard good things about it

when the truck is lifted, the drive shaft has to be longer so all they do is add like a 1/2 inch spacer to the drive shaft that goes between the rear diff. and the u-joint... im not sure if they did this to the front, ive never looked.. but yeah i love mine... its great offroad... it doesnt roll to much on off cambers either..

The front diveshaft will have to be "re-clocked", taken apart and the two ends lined up in a different orientation and then it will have to sent to a driveline shop to be re-balanced. This is most likely what they mean.
