Insane rattling from under my truck

When driving on rough surfaces I get a real continuous/loud knocking or rattling sound from under my truck. I crawled underneath but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. It could be anything suspension/drivetrain/steering related. I can't really pinpoint where it's exacly coming from. Any experiences/help???

exhaust system rattling around? parking brake cable/linkage? i had a rattle somewhere last summer, and when i got the truck rust-proofed for the winter, the underbody spray must have lubricated something because now it's gone!

Nope, no manual shift on the 4x4. And I'm pretty sure its not exhaust, I checked it out pretty good. I had my buddy hang out the pax side window while driving and we think its coming from the right front area....

I had a loud front end noise on my 97. Found the right side stabilizer link broken. I had to actually reach up and feel the link to determine it was broken. To look at it it appeared fine. Drove me nuts trying to find the source of the noise. A buddy of mine had the same problem and tipped me off on what to look for. Good luck.

rattle

I have an 08 e-150 with a rattle from the front calipers or brake pads. I drove to a motorcycle race in the desert and when I hit the washboard sections of the road it sounded terrible! I kicked the tire while touching the caliper and it stopped. I'll get into it this weekend and let you know what I find

update:
The factory forgot the upper rattle clip, then they (dealer)said I had to buy brake pads to get the clip! It's new (the Van) so I let them put the clip in under warranty.
