1998 2wd w/ Coil Spacers...

I have a 1998 2wd, and I plan to buy 1.5in coil spacers. What are the largest tires I could fit? I've read 285/75/16, would this be possible? Also, what is right below this? thanks

i was told that 285s could fit with my 2" spacer and stock wheels on my old 97 but no one would mount them. i went with 265/75/16 (32" instead of 33") it filled out the wheel wells nicely and didnt look too small. they fit fine on my stock level 00 so i would think that 285s could fit. the issue would be the width not the height.

265 is a 10.5" wide tire. the general rule ive heard is that you shouldnt go more than 4.5" wider than your rim so your good at only 3" wider. even the 285s at 11.5" is only 4" wider so they would both work. i have aftermarket 16*8s so they fit no worries

You can fit 285/75-16's easily.
