rear lift

so right now i have 3 inch lift spindles and 2 inch blocks in the back,i just ordered my 2 inch front lift coils and now i need to lift the back another two inches. i dont want to go to a bigger block for fear of spring wrap. will an add a leaf make the ride to ruff? i was thinging a 2 inch shackle with helper springs for when i have my dirtbike and what not. also will 4 inches of lift in the back require me to buy longer shocks, and will my drive shaft be alrite or do i need an extension/ or those angled shims? on a side note will 5 inches in the front and 4 in the back clear 35s?

I'd stick with 33's personally. Add a body lift also if you want 35's.
As for the rear, I'd go with an aal. If you have shocks now that are oem length, you will probably need longer ones. If you have shocks now that are longer than oem length, you will probably be ok.

They may. It will depend on the wheel width and backspacing as well as how much your lift spindles increased your front track width.

well my lift spindles pushed the front out almost 2 inches on each side(witch looks badass) and i dont kno what the backspacing on factory 1998 chromed steel 16 inch rims are, trimmings not an issue unless its the body, the bumpers, valance, etc is fine

The backspacing on the oem 16x7 wheels is 4.5 inches. If you use them or an aftermarket 16x8 with 4.5 inches of bs you will probably be ok.

my dad put a 2" aal on his ranger when he lifted it and it was really really stiff. imo the suspension in the rear is already too stiff unless you constantly have a load back there. i would see if there is a shackle to lift it or a 3" block. stock 4x4 got a 2" block so i dont think a 1" taller block would make that much of a difference and would probably put you back to level with 5" in the front
