can i fit

On a 2001 2WD Sport F150 Ext. Cab can I fit 265/70/17 tires with a 3" body lift? I know the sport models sit a little bit lower so I was wondering if they would fit good.

yea theyll fit. especially with a 3" body lift. that size tire probably fit stock. ive never heard anything about a sport model sitting lower than other body styles.

2wd models sit 2" lower than 4x4's. Not sure if the sports sit any lower than that.

If you put a 3" body on you will sit about 1" higher than a stock 4x4. You should be able to fit a 285.

I think the 97-03 4x2's are about 3 inches lower than the 4x4's. With a body lift you can fit up to a 33x12.50 tire.

Yeah but if I put on a 33" tire with just a body lift it is going to look crammed under the fender and wont look good.

It will basically look like a stock 4x4 with 33's.

Does anybody know if it would look really weird getting a 3" body lift on stock tires which are 255/70/17. I mean there just one size down from the stock size on the 4X4's so would it really make that much difference because I dont have the money for a whole new set of tires.
