gearing question regarding leveling my truck
My question is, If I put a 2.5" leveling kit up front, a 3" block in the rear, and throw 35's on my OEM wheels, WILL I HAVE TO CHANGE THE GEARING ON MY TRUCK?
Also, has anyone done this set-up and loved/hated it?
All comments are appreciated and pictures are awesome as well.

Many people just do CAI, Exhaust, and programmer with 35's. I would suggest doing those mods first. You might be happy with the performance afterwards. I did all three, had 3.73's in the rear with 35's and hated the performance.
I got 4.88's and love it!!!!!
btw, truck performance issues are more a result of larger tires and wheels rather than increase in ride height. your drivetrain gets strained as it was not configured for the weight and roll resistance of 35's. When you add the weight to the truck, its stresses the drivetrain (tranny and engine) resulting in poor performance, premature failure of components, and horrible gas mileage. The engine cant get enough revolutions to get it going. The lift does affect mpg's through aerodynamics, but not is not the cause for needing regearing; its the larger tires.
