Ball Joints covered by warranty?

I was under the truck the other day and noticed my driver side lower ball joint has a huge tear in it.

Is this covered by warranty?

How many miles? Mine were replaced at around 57,000. It really depends on what warranty package you have.

If the boot is torn it should be fully covered. If you have a 2006 with less than 36k miles it should be no problem at all for the 3 yr / 36k bumper-to-bumper warranty. Could call a local dealer to confirm this before bringing it in to them.

I have an appointment next Tuesday to get my A/C vents replaced, so I'm going to ask while I'm there.

Do you think the leveling kit you used to have caused it?

It's quite possible I suppose. I don't see how, but then again it shouldn't have made my upper arms hit the spring either.
