ideas for lifting

hey i have a 97 f150 4x4
if i crank the torsion bars and add a 3 inch lift block in the rear would it lift my truck a good 3 inches?????????????

anyone have pics of the torsion bars cranked?

No you will never get 3" out of cranking the torsion bars and honestly it is not a good thing to do.

As for your question, you wont get 3" out of just cranking your TB's. If you want crank them to the 3/4 of the way and then throw and AAL (add a leaf) in the rear and you might get 1.5-2" higher

exactly! 2" would be the max! And you would have some steep angles on CV's and Ball joints

Thank you. My tires are conservative i could have went with 305/70/16. But they didnt have them in stock.

With TB's cranked and an AAL you can fit 35's on stock wheels with alittle trimming of the fron valance.
