Bags on a lifted f150

i am looking into puttin some air bags on the rear of my truck, prefferable fast bags. its got suspension and body lift. can this even be done? would this need to be custom made, or is there a kit with brackets? this will be mostly for show but i still need to tow. also, with the bags installed, will i be able to drop the rear lower than where i currently sit? thanks for any help. i am trying to do some research on this before i drop the $.

hope you get an answer, i tried asking a shop what to do with my truck since its mostly show but i do occasionally hit the trails with my truck, so i need supple rear leafs with some way to hold a load at will. my idea was bags but i am afraid of tearing them up...

heres what i've seen running around on a few dodge 3/4t's here... semi bags and custom made brackets. not sure how you'd set it up besides a 4link to get your ride height to drop at will.

if you look at jackit.com, they sell air bag brackets for trucks with lifts installed. all i am looking for is to be able to control the height of my rear end, and drop the rear lower than the front occasionally. it would be for show purposes mostly, but i would still need to the ability to tow. i have never seen it done on a lifted f150 on here, this is why i am inquiring. it would be interesting to see some pics. i have no idea where the bracket and bag would even mount, otherwise i could do the install myself.

Im getting ready to setup the rear of my truck with a 4 link and bags. I have the 8" Rize. I already have the bags. They are single sleeve bags kinda like semi bags but a little smaller. I got some info from Kellderman's website.

wow, nicely done. you have any pics of your truck showing how much you can raise and lower it??

also, what kit did you end up going with? are those brackets custom fabbed or what? and i wonder wat i could do since my block has the built in bump stop on it...im sure it would get right in the way...

also...are you able to control the bags from inside the truck or are they just fillup bags you hook up a compressor to? i am looking for the whole compressor, tank and electric valve setup with switches.

I could be wrong but I don't think you can lower the truck at all. All the bags are doing is assisting when the truck has a load on it, whether it be in the bed or hooked up to a trailer. Once the load has lowered the rear end down, he can then inflate the bags to raise the rear back up.

Very nice set-up though - I'm looking to lift mine 6" very soon. I pull somewhat heavy trailers on occasion so will be looking to get bags as well. Thanks for the info!!
