whats actually "level"
gota 2005 f150 xlt 5.4L 4x4. lookin at gettin a leveling kit and wondering what actually is the difference between the back and front. ive seen anywhere from 2-3 inches. doesnt sound like a big difference that inch but when ur tryin to clear 35" tires with no possible rub or bottom out in the least bit, im sure it matters. was also wondering how high does the front need to come up in order to fit 35" with no problems what so ever. then pending on the actuall level difference whats the back need to come up. my situation is i was lookin at the 3" pro comp leveling kit (strut extention) http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT300855.aspx then maybe doin an add-a-leaf due to cost of a good pro comp 6 inch lift. im lookin to for now be able to do this little rise for a lot cheaper, get my tires then later on when i have enough cash to blow go for the full deal. any help with be appreciated thanks!

As far as "what's level?" Every truck is different. Best thing to do is park somewhere level and measure the difference. That'll give you the best idea of how much you will want/need.
