Question Bilstein 5150's

I got a six inch lift right now and I'm gonna get the bilsteins with the rezzy for the rear. What kind of valving and extended/collapsed length do I need? They have firm single, firm multiple, soft single and soft multiple. I'm looking at desertrat.com. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Sorry i really can't help ya. i would think it is either of the single's you are looking for (assuming "double" means a two shock set-up) as for soft or firm... what kinda ride you looking for? a soft or firm one? (again: assuming). I really am not sure about the length tho... i am sure other's will chime in. Let me know for sure how they work out. $$$ worth it? how they ride/handle, etc.i am not in need now, but will want better shocks in the future and Bilstein is def. a great way to go.

single and multiple it says deals with the valving. price is about 225 a pair. I need some info pretty quick because I want to get them ordered here soon and on the truck.

Call this number:
1-858-386-5900
I tried just now but they said the guy who knows the most about the 5150's was outta the office and will be back in 30-40 minutes. this is at 2:28 Pacific standard time. They will be able to answer those question with 100% accuracy. That is Bilstein direct number for questions or concerns. Thats all we use in our Mercedes shop (bilstein) and that a number we use for little questions just like you have. Good luck bud.

I appreciate your help man, but that guy didn't really help me any. I kept asking about the shocks and he kept cutting me off and just gave me a part number, didn't really answer any of my questions.

I think I got the 187-H1(255/70) with my fabtech block and AAL. You could go take some measurements and guesstimate like I did.

Got the 5150's from eShocks and the AAL from 4wheelparts.

For a 6 inch lift 32 should be fine my Donahoes are 33 but my foxs are 31.10 and 19.10 and I never bottom them out and they dont seem to limit my droop I would go right around 31 32 IF it is a basic 6 inch fabtech or Procomp lift
