i have already ordered the kit. i was just woundering the difficulty on how to drop the truck, esspecially the flip kit. also, does anyone know where i could find a install guide? last thing, if i bought a chillton (book) for my truck, would that help?

chilton wont really really help you too much. did your kit come with a bolt/weld in Cnotch for the rear? If not you wont be able to clear in the back, the axle will sit right on the frame rail.

Is the front 1" coils and 3" spindle? do you have 18" + rims so you can clear the new spindles?

I have 3/5 kit that i put together, and im about 1.25" from the frame rail, and can easily get it to touch the bumpstops

That's not entirely true. I have a flip kit, 1" block, and 2" shackles.

 

flip kit = 5" + 1" lift block + 2" drop shackles?

So total drop of 6" ?

Heres my truck with 3" hangers and 2" shackles (with stock SVT lightning bumpstops installed) I have since cut them in half for a better ride

5 + 1 + 2 = 8..
