If I already have a 2 inch leveling kit on the front of my 07 FX4 and I'm going to get Bilstein shocks do I need the 5100's or can I just go with the BST Heavy Duty. Also, other than having the ability to adjust the shock is there any difference between the 5100 and the BST.

 

Go with the adjustable shock and eliminate your leveling kit. it is not possible to run a leveling kit with your shocks adjusted for lift.

 

I'm not going to lift my truck I'm just going to change shocks.

 

Then either shock will work.

 

You're saying you can't run 5100s at +2 with a leveling kit? Why?
