'97-'03 F-150 Straight Axle Swap

I am wondering if anyone has ever swapped a straight front axle into their '97-'03 F-150s? What axle did you use, what driveshaft, etc. etc. What were the problems you encountered? Some pics or links would be awesome. Thanks!

Wow.. Rockwells eh. Sounds pretty heavy duty.. What truck are you putting it in? And what motor/tranny/tcase are you going to run? Are you going to put a rockwell in the rear too? I'd love to know more about your project, and see some pics.

i will be putting them under my current truck...front and rear...i am looking at either cummins or cat for a motor...as far as tranny/t-case, i have not researched enough to know what will mate well with the engines i have in mind...it's probably going to be a little while b4 i start this mod...but it is the next size up for me...if you want an idea of what it might look like, search for "Sergeant Rock" online...its a truck Stacy David built on the Spike tv show Trucks...

That sounds like a very cool project, and the Sgt. Rock is very cool too. Good luck on it, and keep us updated here. Does anyone else have any pics or info on a more stock type '97-'03 f-150s with a straight front axle?
