Need A Lift For Fx4

I have a 05 FX4 SCAB. I leveled the truck 2" in front and put 305X65X18 BFG AT KO's on. There is no problem with rubbing until I turn on uneven surfaces. I want to raise the truck up so I can offroad and go over uneven surfaces without rubbing. What lift do I need just to accomplish this? I don't want to spend a lot. I was thinking of the 6" basic fabtech lift. What are your thought. Thanks in advance.

you can always go with a PA 3" body lift for extra cleareance. There cheap, and get the job done.

normally 275-300$ for the kit w/ gap guards. and installation ranges from 500-750$. you can either eat the installation cost or perform the install yourself. its tedious time consuming work but can be done on your own. It comes with step by step instructions and illustrations as well. try www.suspensionconnection.com for the kit.

body lifts simply lift the body off the frame 3"s using re-inforced nylon blocks. Body lifts do not affect any suspension lifts/components.

no wonder, you have 10" wide rims with a 33.5" tire.

do yourself a favor, get a suspension lift. It sounds like you want to do some offroading. Maybe consider the 4" rancho. It will fit your tire/wheel combo perfectly, and comes with a great set of shocks which will be perfect for you if you want to have some fun. It will also put your CVs back to normal.
