06 SCAB, 2", 2.5" or 3" Leveling Kit Questions, 1" Rear ?? and Sway Bars??

The info: 2006 SCAB, 4x4 with all stock suspension.

Questions:

1. Is there any down sides to a 3" front leveling kit, such as alignment issues or CV angles. If so, does a 2" or 2.5" kit avoid any issues a 3" kit could create?

2. Any opinions on this 3" leveling kit? http://www.fatbobsgarage.com/cart/pr...8-468-182.html

3. Will I need to replace the rear shocks if I add a 1" axle spacer?

4. Lastly, who makes a GOOD front and rear sway bars for my mostly urban 4x4?

I would go with a 2 or 2.5 inch spacer. 3 inches is just too much for the Ford ball joints to take.

Go with a 2.5 inch if you want your truck to sit level when empty. If you are planning to tow, you may want to consider the 2 inch so your truck sits level when towing.

I am planning to install a 2.5 inch spacer with a 1" lift in the back because I only want to run 33x12.5s and I will be towing a 4000 lb boat. I am going to add a SuperSpring helper in the back which sits on top of your leaf springs. When the weight of your trailer is added to the truck, the extra leaf spring keeps it from sagging. When the truck is empty, the SuperSpring does not affect your ride quality.

Thanks for the info on the spacers. I'll definatly be going with the 2.5" spacers to save the ball joints.

The Super Springs look like a killer ideal. If I ever end up doing much towing, that looks like the way to go. Heck of an idea to keep the unloaded ride normal.

I'll do the 2.5" in the front and 1" blocks in the rear to get the look I want and tire clearance when that time comes.

3. Will I need to replace the rear shocks if I add a 1" axle spacer?

4. Lastly, who makes a GOOD front and rear sway bars for my mostly urban 4x4?

I don't think you will have to replace the rear shocks if you add an inch taller lift block.
