2.5" coil spacer and 33"s

Anyone running a 2.5" spring spacer with 33's or 35's with no other mods on their 04+? If so post a pic. I am trying to visualize what it will look like.

Yeah, a ton of people have that combo on 04-08 4x4's. A 325/60-18 (33x13.00) on an 18x9 inch wheel seems to be the most common setup.

Wandell,

Is that still considered the "safest" way to level an 04-08 F150? I know it is the cheapest, but have others been having any issues with parts breaking or wearing out prematurely after almost 4 years of usage?

I am looking at a new FX4 and I would like to level it the safest way possible, not the cheapest.

Thanks,

KR-Texas

If you're going to use the stock wheels than you'll be able to clear 35s with minor trimming at full lock with a 2.5" spacer. Otherwise, I'd stick with 33s.

The ball joints on the 97-08 F-150's are high wear items. I've heard of them wearing out prematurely with and without leveling kits.
