Clamps VS Bolts for '07 Models?
I'm currently having a new lift installed with 35" tires and 18" wheels by a local place with a good rep. Earlier today they left a message saying that my '07 XLT model requires clamps ($240) instead of bolts to fit the tires on properly, and once they are on I will have to go to a Ford place to get them calibrated to avoid a dashboard light remaining on(70$). The mech said it was the first time they've come across this and made the call to Ford soon after it was noticed. By the time I got this message it was too late to call back for details, but wonder if anyone knows more on this subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And he may be talking about the speedo calibration, too. Thr Ford IDS can recalibrate for up to a certain size tire, and his computer, if he has one, may not be able to access that info.
