I installed my 2" Autospring leveling kit on my 06 FX4 and was surprised to see that right after the install it lifted the front of my truck a full 3" on both sides. I contacted an AS rep and he told me to drive it for a couple of days to let things settle, then to get it aligned. He told me it would probably be about a half inch lower then. I drove it for a week or so, then had it aligned at the dealer this morning. Each side only dropped an 1/8". So with a 2" AS kit, I got 2 7/8" on each side. The spacers were only 1 11/16" to begin with. Has anybody else got this much lift from them, and should I be concerned with the boots or upper ball joints?

 

i got about the same amount of lift with my 2" AS kit and they look sooo good and you dont have anything to worry about with the boots and upper ball joints

 

Good to know, I love the way it sits now...looks like a different truck, much better! Of course now, I have to detail my wheel wells since you can see so much of them, hehe.
