Body Lift Question?

I want to take my body lift off my truck, is this possible to do?
(2005 f150 fx4 screw) I purchased it with the body lift already on. Also body lift looks welded on.

Ya you can take it off. I'm not familiar with the 04++ with what needs to be done for the install. The only thing that is possibly welded is the crush blocks unless they changed stuff. At the very least you will need all new OE mounting bolts!! The BL bolts will not work. You may need a new fan shroud also.
I am sure someone with an 04+ that has done one will chime in!!!
BTW, why are ya taking it off???

You should be able to take it off, as Kevin 24 stated, only the crush blocks would be welded on. At lest that's how it is with everything that is an 03 or earlier. I can't imagine them changing that much for the 04s. No welding is required in the instructions if it's a PA Body Lift kit.

Good Luck, it doesn't sound like too much fun.

Yeah stack the suspension on the body and it will look great. Or im pretty sure if u go all suspension and get it installed at a place, they will take it off for you.

I'm not positive, but I think there may be some welding involved in a body lift on the 04-08's (the reciever hitch and or rear bumper). It will be a pita to take off, because everyone says they are a pita to install. I'd leave it.
