Question Fabtech 6" lift - front suspension travel??

I have the 6" Fabtech lift on my 2000 150 4x4. The stock t-bars and keys are almost max'ed out but the gap between the lower control arm and lowered bump stops is only about 1" - 1 1/2" which seems way too narrow to me.

Can anyone weigh in on this and if anyone has pics of their lift installed showing the angle of the lower arms from a front view and/or the gap I mentioned, I would appreciate it if you could post 'em.

Thanks all!!

I have that a arm lift and my a arms use the coils as a lower stop. the travel is just a little more than stock but when they bottom out they really hit the bumps, and that can be done on speed bumps.

I woulda been happy with it if i could of aligned it

You are describing a 2wd lift - mine is the 4 wd. Thanks for the reply though.

Anyone else?

I had the same concern when i put my lift on. I think the setup looks decieving. The bump stops are way back towards the piviot point on the conrol arm so in the 1-1/2 = quite a bit of travel at the wheel.

Good point about the location of the stop. Now you're going to make me walk out and look at it again...
