Who makes these UCA's

Who makes these UCA's? The upper control arm is connected to a regular spindle, I know JD Fab makes something like it, but you need to buy their spindle. I called JD and its not their product.

Thump: Take another look at those. Are you sure its camburg? i have been looking at Camburg UCA and they are round for the newer body style the older ones were flat but have a bunch of indents, unlike the ones in the pic with only 4. Those UCA's look a lot more like the long travel suspension set up from Tuff Country to me. No?

LMAO!!

Technically I guess you're right. The standard UCAs that Camburg sells are much different but these were built before those even came out. Camburg doesn't even know their own ****. I believe Camburg and Tuff Country teamed up for this LT kit that TC is selling. Camburg built it and designed it, Tuff Country is just selling it since they're a bigger company. The pictures I've got are VERY old and it was the owner of www.SIK50s.com's personal truck. I knew someone who worked for Sik50s and the truck WAS built by Camburg in about 2004-2005.

Just spoke with Tuff Country, Yes it is their product and it is only the UCA that connects to a regular spindle and hopefully it will not cost more than $100,000.00. They are finding me the part number and the cost, so i'll put up the details as soon as i get them. Thanks for all your fast replies!

Camburg does design/supply a UCA that is semi square, but again it looks different. they designed theres with a bunch of little ripples in it. Very similiar, but still different to the eye. That is the only other one they have for newer trucks and it was designed back in 1993 (or right around there). Just

And about Camburg teaming up with Tuff Country (??)... I don't think so. True they both sell a LT kit but totally different base designers, different disign teams and a slightly different out-come. I believe camburg has a couple more inches of travel. but I can be wrong and would be more than happy to be proved wrong (honestly). I knew those were Tuff Country LT kit because a guy around here runs it on his 05. But the kit is only for 2wd I believe. Good luck with your build up.

Ok, Tuff Counrty did sell that whole package upper, lower control arm, and spring. It was made by JD fab and Tuff sold them. The Tuff rep told me they no longer sell them due to lack of interest, sales, i think $4k might be a reason too, but it is a heavy duty package for major off road use . So the only place to get them is JD fab. All i wanted was just the upper control arm to connect to my 6" pro comp spindle, but the JD fab rep said the UCA are for major travel and are 4" longer than stock UCA and will only work with their lower control arm, 4" longer than stock LCA. So my idea of just getting the UCA is no go. Its the $4000 package or nothing, so even in the picks you can see that the front wheels stick out of the wheel well by a couple of inches as compaired to the rear. Total Chaos or Camburg UCA here i come! Did the group buy ever come to pass?

I can promise everyone that the EXACT UCA that is in that photo was built by Camburg, whether or not they built it for sale isn't the question. My mistake about it being JDFab and Tuff Country teaming up though.

Why not just get the Camburg UCAs that they have out for sale? . . or even the Total Chaos? I personally like the Camburgs though.

Lets hook up with some group buy. From Camburg, the UCA are $550, i called Outlaw Off Road, they are a dealer off the Camburg website, they said they will sell them for $500 with out shipping, then i called Camburg to sell if they would match the price of their dealer and they said the could not.
My *****.......i mean my ball joints a hurting over here, i need a fix!

I thought Camburg was going to give us the discount of $500 with free shipping if we were a member here. I guess I was wrong or that person doesn't know about the whole thing.
