I would look into your Lower Ball joints, Search squeeks and front end, there is a lot of help on this. Saved My bacon. I was looking for a bad bushing, by the time I got the BAll joint off it was ready to snap.

If it breaks at speed it would be bad. If it sqeeks when you turn, or go over bumps is a good indication that its a ball joint. Jack the truck up and let the wheel hang. Pull towards you on the bottom of the wheel. If there is play in the wheel you have a bad ball joint. They arent too bad to replace, if you have the tools to do it. Just make sure you get greasable replacement parts.
