04 4x2 heritage torsion?

04 4x2 heritage torsion?

struggling to figure this site out.

Only the 4x4's have torsion bars. THe 4x2's have dual a-arms and coilsprings.
However, you can buy Daystar or other coilspring spacers for far less than $200.

there are no products that i've found so far specified for a heritage 04 4x2. the last thing i want to do is trial and error. as i recall my last 2003 f150 had a much skinnier spring and much longer. (the ride was better too)

here is a picture. can anyone point me in the right direction.

Looks like all the 97-03 F-150 4x2's I've seen.

so although it was 04 model it will still use 03 leveling kits?

The 04 Heritage has the same setup as the 97-03.

If you had a 04, it would be the new style and you could use the spring spacer to get additional lift in the front. Most people on here used this approach because they feel that the truck has to much rake from the factory.
