DL's and Total Chaos UCA's Installed *PICS*

Installed it all today. Install went really well. Kinda got hung up on the alignment hats that go on the bottom of the coilover and the LCA, but i got it done. The setup looks awesome and rides awesome. No squeeking from the uni-ball yet (knock on wood). The pics below are the coilovers set from fabtech, since then i have cranked them a little, but i didnt realize how much cranking needs to be done to achieve 2"s of lift. The DL's are kinda a PIA to crank on, i wrapped rubber around my spanner wrench and it still managed to gaul up the collar. Kinda looks like a$$, but its all good, you cant really see it through the UCA.

Question for you guys, how much cranking really needs to be done to gain that extra height (about 2"s)? I cranked them a good 6 times and barely got and inch. Should i keep cranking on them? The uni-ball is in a excellent angle, and i know for a fact that it can take more. Any help is appreciated, as i want to crank them as high as i can then get it aligned up tommorow. Thanks guys, enjoy the Pics.

Just keep cranking, I have no idea on how many turns it's going to take.

Are you adjusting them on the truck? I have no idea but I swear I thought that you couldn't do that with the Dirt Logics. I'm probably wrong though.

well thats y theyre being such a pia. i had 14" kings on my 96 f1, you have to adj them off the truck. ull end up scratching the hellllll out of them and u might loose a knuckle by time its over and done with. it will take less time and effort to take them off and adj. them than leavin them on

Thats what I thought. I mean if you think about it, you're trying to jack up the whole truck using a coilover. Thats a lot of weight and stress on them. I think they can even become damaged from doing so. I believe Josiah did this and he had to send them back to get a new set.
