Raise my 98 2wd F150 to look like a stock 4wd?

I am a man of simple pleasures...

I currently have a 1998 Ford F150 Extended Cab 2WD. All I want to do is raise it up so that it looks like the stock 4wd version of the same year. I don't want anything excessive, I just like the look of the 4wd's.

Basically, what is the best/cheapest way I can make my 2wd look just like a stock 4wd, except for the sticker, of course?

Thanks!
Matt

IIRC the 4x4's sat up about 2" higher than a 4x2, so if thats the case, a 2" coil spacer up front and a block that will add 2" in the back.

you are gonna have some bad angles with that 2" spacer. i dont think you should go over 1.5" without upgrading your spindles.

i put a daystar 2" coil spacer on my old 97 2wd, it sat about .5-1" lower than the rear after it settled(level when i first put it in) to sit at 4x4 height i think you should go with trixman and get a 3" spindle and a 1" block to level it nicely at 4x4 height

You can also add a 3 inch body lift.

I had a 3.5 inch spindle lift on my 99 2wd with 2inch blocks in the back. Sat just like a 4x4 in the back, but a touch higher in the front...leveled out perfectly, looked awsome Personally I would go that route if your wanting a 4x4 look. Close to a stock 4x4, but you still know something a little different is dont to it.

If you can afford it I would recommend going with a suspension lift. I have the fabtech 7.5 inch lift on my 2000 2wd with 35in tires and it rides nice and looks tough. here's a link to see:
