bush link missing from sway bar

bush link missing from sway bar

looked under the truck to find out what was clicking and im missing a bush link from the front stabilizer bar. my ? is it driveable or will this cause damage? thanx.

It's not unsafe, but I would get it fixed. Couldn't tell you if there is a long term effect, but I would imagine there is one. They aren't expensive and you could do it yourself if you're so inclined..

are you talking about the holder that actually attaches to your frame in the front of the drop links that connect behind your wheel...

if youre talking about the ones behind your wheel then get them changed. if you have aftermarket ones, call the manf, they should send you replacement ones.

hellwig sends me new ones just about every 4 months....

if you're talking about the end links, I'd replace them with a set from energy suspension - available any autozone, discount auto parts, pep boy, etc...

best thing I ever did for under $15 - all urethane and grade 8 hardware...

yours should be the same as my '02 - 9.8118 is the p/n - just measure the center spacer length on your oem and match it up to the correct set in the store.
